About Blissful Bags
Truth be told, I have always been a Bag Lady. Right from when I was a tiny tiddler I liked to potter about clasping a bag in my chubby little hand, filled to the brim with my treasures – autumn leaves, a few twigs, mum’s old lippie, 5 pence for the sweetshop and a crayon or two......
.... And you know it is true: no matter what her age a girl needs a vessel of sorts to stash her treasure in.
Don’t you think there is nothing better than stepping out, swinging a deliciously decadent little bag through the air? You can tell women who are at one with their bags: they have a style and chic-ness all of their own. They are in charge and ready to take on the world!
Well that’s how I feel about it and I must say my passion for bags has become an obsession. I am always on the hunt for that perfect bag – you know the one – it is just the right size, made of just the right fabric, just the right colour and just the right shape….you know it when you see it and you HAVE to HAVE it! The only problem is ‘just the right’ changes all the time, so a girl needs more than one to fulfil her dreams.
Funny how that is!
So, let me tell you I am a self-confessed handbag huntress and I must say I have had some delicious moments as yet again I have found ‘just the right’ one. What bliss.
Because I know I am not alone in my need to surround myself and fill my cupboards with bags of all shapes and sizes for all sorts of occasions, I decided it was time to get sorted and share my passion with other like-minded hunters and huntresses.
Hence, the birth of Blissful Bags.
